The Wine
The second release of our signature Tannat that is sourced from our Myrrhee vineyard which is proving itself as having an ideal micro climate for ripening Mediterranean red varieties. Hand pick and fermented in 2 tonne open fermenters over 10-12 days and then barrel aged for 36 month. A variety that has a monstrous reputation that needed that extra time to mature! Displaying powerful berry fruit flavours and sublte yet distinct tannins which is the hallmark of this unique variety. A wine that can be enjoyed over the next 15+ years and is a fantastic matchfor fuller flavoured meals.
